About Bainilan

Yunnan Bainilan Biological Resources Development Co., Ltd. relies on Yunnan's unique plant and flower resources, advanced technology research and development platform, and state-of-art equipment to specialize in the research, development, and production of plant-based products and skin care products. Since its establishment, the company has mainly focused on the application of Yunnan's unique biological resources, such as Panax notoginseng, rose, aloe vera, Paris polyphylla, Dendrobium, and Pu'er tea, in skin care products.

Yunnan Bainilan Bio-Resource Development Co., Ltd. was established in 2010 and is located in the Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone, a well-connected industrial area in Yunnan Province, China. The company focuses on the research, development, and manufacturing of skincare products derived from natural botanical resources.

The company is led by Ms. Zhou Lingxian, Chairwoman of Bainilan and former Director of the Nutrition Research Institute at Kunming Medical College. She has long been dedicated to the research and development of health foods and skincare products derived from Yunnan’s unique natural resources. She is widely recognized as a respected expert in the fields of nutrition and botany in China.

To ensure consistent quality and responsible operations, Bainilan has implemented internationally recognized management systems. Since 2020, the company has been certified for ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management, and ISO 14001 Environmental Management systems.

Bainilan operates approximately 3,000 m² of standardized production facilities built in accordance with GMPC (Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and the regulatory requirements for cosmetic manufacturing. The facility includes a Class 300,000 cleanroom, multiple fully automated production lines, and a complete set of professional laboratories, including R&D laboratories, physicochemical testing laboratories, and microbiological testing laboratories.

Our Research & Development team follows a science-based formulation approach, focusing primarily on natural botanical extracts as key ingredients. By carefully selecting high-quality raw materials from trusted domestic and international suppliers and applying rigorous technical development processes, Bainilan continuously develops innovative skincare formulations.

With strong R&D capability, modern production facilities, and strict quality control, Bainilan provides reliable OEM/ODM skincare manufacturing services for international brands seeking high-quality, natural-inspired cosmetic products.

Bainilan works with several certified third-party testing institutions, including Yunnan Institute of Product Quality Inspection, Guangzhou SGS Standard Technical Services Co., Ltd., and Yunnan Tianzheng Testing Technology Co., Ltd.

The company’s core business covers cosmetic ingredient development, cosmetic manufacturing, cosmetic regulatory consulting, and cosmetics export services.

Bainilan is fully authorized by the Yunnan Provincial Medical Products Administration to manufacture cosmetics within the following production categories:

• General liquid unit (including toners, hair cleansing products, and gel products)

• Cream, lotion, and emulsion unit (including skincare cleansing products and hair care products)

The company currently employs more than 40 staff members. Bainilan has established a complete product R&D and manufacturing system.

Major partner clients include Yunnan Baiyao Group, China Resources Shenghuo Pharmaceutical, Jida Pharmaceutical, MUJI Japan, and Qumei Biotechnology, among other domestic and international companies.

Technical exchange and cooperation activities include partnerships with academic and research institutions such as the Institute of Microbiology of Yunnan University, the School of Chemistry of Kunming University, and the Technology Achievement Incubation Center of Kunming Medical University.
